Kingdom of the Blue Whale
Premiering on Sunday March 15 at 8:30PM, National Geographic Channel takes students and their teachers into the Kingdom of the Blue Whale. Using Crittercam® technology, the whale’s world is revealed from its own perspective - its environment, habitat, feeding, migration patterns, communication and for the first time underwater footage of a blue whale calf is unveiled.

The largest and possibly loudest creatures to ever live on our planet yet blue whales are so rare that experts know very little about them and in most places their future is threatened.

Narrated by Tom Selleck, Kingdom of the Blue Whale provides the clues as to why these animals have become one of the world’s most endangered species. Stunning underwater cinematography, CGI of the whale’s internal body, high resolution maps, satellite imaging, and insight from experts all reveal the mysteries in the story of the majestic blue whale.

This special programme provides the answers to every student’s question.
