The memory remains

Found this rose, still very fresh, lying on a vast open beach with no one around. Wonder who left it there for whom. Perhaps in memory, an expression of love or plain lost, this rose just lay there adding colour to an otherwise drab scenery. It brought all these questions to mind at once!
