National Geographic Channel and Nissan have launched their second annual search for Australia's ultimate family adventurers. Aussies love a good road trip. We are really looking forward to seeing people's sense of adventure come to the fore as they set off in pursuit of their dream trip... Is your family ready to take the plunge?

FIRST 50 ENTRIES

The first 50 valid entries will each receive a National Geographic adventure pack including a backpack, torch and first aid kit.

TOP 3 FAMILIES

Three families will be chosen by National Geographic Channel and Nissan to go on an exhilarating five day getaway with the highlights of their journey appearing on TV and online.

The three National Geographic X-TRAIL Adventurer finalists will each receive a high definition video camera and undergo a crash course in filming to record their adventures. A film crew will also hit the road with them to document all the excitement of their journey. Their travels will then be turned into short segments that will screen around Australia on National Geographic Channel.

GRAND PRIZE

Viewers will then have the opportunity to vote for their ultimate family, with the most popular family winning their very own Nissan X-TRAIL 4WD Ti CVT, valued at over $50,285.

With the help of their own Nissan X-TRAIL, the winning family will be able to continue their off-road travels for a very long time to come.
