On the way to the moon, an oxygen tank aboard the Apollo 13 spacecraft explodes, triggering one of the most famous space rescues in history. Apollo 13 commander James Lovell and lunar module pilot Fred Haise tell the inside story.

Apollo 13
Apollo 13 is on its way to the moon in 1970 with three astronauts aboard, for the most challenging of lunar missions yet. As Jack Swigert performs the regular housekeeping chore of stirring the oxygen tanks, he unwittingly triggers a catastrophic explosion. How will Mission Control get the ill-fated Apollo 13 home? How long will the lunar module engine function? Will the crew have enough food and water? And how will they cope with the freezer-like conditions?
