Sabour Bradley travelled all the way from Australia to Afghanistan to follow his heart, but that didn't work out as he had hoped.

Broken hearted and stranded in a war zone, he was approached by two TV producers who asked him if he would consider doing a travel show about the country. But not just any travel show. They wanted a program that would reveal a different side of the war-torn country. So he jumped at the chance. Setting out in Kabul, he works up the nerve to audition for Afghan Idol – the country's most popular and controversial television program. He then learns how to race fighting pigeons, takes on one of Afghan's fiercest kite fighters and visits the last Jew living in the city.
